Policy analysis is a multidisciplinary field that examines how regulatory, economic, social, and environmental factors converge to shape the way communities are developed. This process not only scrutinizes existing policies but also evaluates propose changes to determine their overall impact on communities, local economies, ana natural resources. The goal is to provide policymakers with clear insights into how decisions affect urban growth, maintain environmental sustainability, and foster social equity, all while balancing competing interests.   

Mr. Cautero can analyze polices and proposed legislation that impacts both the private and public sectors. He has extensive experience in analyzing new and amended legislation that regulates local government’s ability to review and issue of land use changes, zoning changes, special permits, conditional uses, site plans, and building permits. He is familiar with a full range of regulations at a community’s disposal including, but not limited to, zoning regulations, comprehensive plans, building codes, and impact fees. The use of scenario planning is used to forecast future needs and understand how policy choices might play out over time. These techniques help decision makers anticipate long-term implications and prepare for unforeseen developments.
